NOTE: 1. Following are clarifications for ITC HS Code and UNIT of commodities:

           (a) ITC HS Code of the Commodity is from latest HS Code Directory provided by DGCIS Kolkata on April 2024.

           (b) The UNIT of the commodity may be changed from April 2024 onward (e.g. If the unit of a commodity is KGS in April 2024, it might be TON before the April 2024)

           (c) Unit of commodity is available only at 8 digit level.

           (d) The old HS Code may be either dropped or re-allocated.

           (e).Commodity Description prefixed with * represents that the commodity is dropped from HS Code Directory from April 2024.onwards.

           2. India’s Imports/Exports include re-imports/re-exports also.

           3. Imports/Exports from unspecified country includes

           (a) Trade transactions where country of origin/consignment/destination is not specified or invalid country codes have been assigned in the customs declaration.

           (b) All re-imported/re-exported transactions which fulfill condition (a) above.

           4.Search Specific Commodity: Click on Search link

           5.Search on HS Code:

           (a) For Searching all HS Code and Commodities under a 2 digit code, enter desired 2 digit code and click Submit button.

           (b) For Searching all HS Code and Commodities under a 4 digit code, enter desired 4 digit code and click Submit button.

           (c) For Searching all HS Code and Commodities under a 6 digit code, enter desired 6 digit code and click Submit button.

           6.Search on Description: For searching any commodity, enter a string (3 or more characters) in the description field and click the Submit button. All commodities with their HS Code which contains the given string in their description will be displayed.
